The 2024 NBA playoffs begin this week with the NBA play-in, which will determine the opponents for the top two seeds in the East and the West. In the East, the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks await their opponents from a group that includes the Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls. In the West, the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder will each play one of the two teams that emerges from the group of the Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.
The other first-round matchups include the Orlando Magic versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Milwaukee Bucks versus the Indiana Pacers in the East, while in the West the Phoenix Suns face the Minnesota Timberwolves and the LA Clippers take on the Dallas Mavericks.
The NBA Finals will begin June 6 on ABC.
